Spicy, Smoky BBQ Sauce

My BBQ beef stew asks for 1/2 cup BBQ sauce.
We used Steers, as it's one of the only good BBQ sauces
available here in South Africa.
You can use one of your choice or make your own.
This recipe, which I saw recently, looks delicious
and even uses Liquid Smoke.

Ingredients
For Spicy Smoky Barbecue Sauce:
1-1/2 cups ketchup
1 tablespoon minced onion (dried)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup coarse ground Dijon mustard
1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 tablespoons liquid smoke
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Sriracha hot chili sauce
1 cup beer (your choice)
1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
Mix all the above ingredients in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes.
Store in the refrigerator.
